With only three days to go before polling day, the SNP have an 8% lead in the polls, according to the Sunday Herald. As the SNP is riding high nationally, the people of Springburn have a real chance of electing Anne McLaughlin as their MSP in May, and an even better chance of electing SNP councillors. Thousands of people are making the switch towards the SNP. But remember, we can only win if you vote SNP three times on 3rd May. For your first vote, for the list, vote "Alex Salmond for First Minister". For your second vote, vote "Anne McLaughlin SNP". On the second ballot paper, you will have a different SNP council candidate depending on what area of the ward you live in. If you live in East Centre ward (Dennistoun, Riddrie, Carntyne, Milnbank, Cranhill, or Haghill), mark number 1 against "Jennifer Dunn, SNP". If you live in North East ward(Easterhouse, Provanhall, Garthamlock, Craigend, Ruchazie, Barmulloch and Balornock East, Provanmill, Robroyston, Hogganfield, Millerston and Blackhill), mark number 1 against "Grant Thoms, SNP". If you live in Springburn ward (Royston, Sighthill, Springburn and Balornock), then mark number 1 against "Phil Greene, SNP". If you live in Drygate, around the cathedral or on the east side of High Street, mark number 1 against "Craig Mackay, SNP". If you live in the section of Dennistoun between Duke Street and the railway line that runs through Bellgrove station, vote "Alison Thewliss, SNP". Together we can build a better Scotland. |
